High frequency generator heating principle HF generator is the core of dielectric heating equipment. It applies three phase alternating current to form frequency oscillation electric field .Under this high frequency electric field, the molecules like water .glue or PVC will be polarized and form two poles. The electric field will change pole rapidly meanwhile all the molecules will also move in very high speed. The friction and impact among molecules can make material get heated in short time. Then the water will be vaporized, glue becomes solid and PVC gets softened rapidly.

1. I already have a method to dry wood. Why would I want to use a vacuum kiln to dry wood instead?

2. Do high frequency vacuum kilns change the color of my lumber?
Wood dried by a high frequency vacuum kilns is dried in a low oxygen enviroment,at tempreatures much lower than those found in conventional or dehumidiffcation kilns,Kiln drying cycle times are significantly shorter. Changes to the composition of the raw wood are less severe in comparison to conventionally dried wood. This may be a boon, if you are wooking with hard maple. This may be an issue,if you are trying to darken the sapwood in your koa. Most species come out much brighter!
